Your nuts man!!
I screwed around at the gun range at my school alot since it was free for us. We could shoot as many rounds as we wanted to, unlimited range time and ammo yet I never spent more than an hour a month down there.
I bet if you woulda gone to my school the military woulda put a limit on your *** or go broke trying!!

Ive heard and read about alot of people think the .277" bullet is a peice of junk just cause its not the all famous .308".. I, for one, can prove them wrong
Yea the Berger VLDs i shoot arent exactly cheap but they do their job well. Still a heck of alot cheaper than goin to the store and buying a box of 20 for $25.
I loaded 100rds yesterday to shoot in the match Saturday, only cost me $59. Using CCI Bench Rest primers, 59.0Grs H4831SC, and the 140gr Berger VLD.
Next load im gonna try out is a Sierra Match King 135gr, they are a good bit cheaper but i dont think the actual bullet is long enough for me to seat it out deep enough to engage the riflings..

Local gun shop, its the cheap SPS, special purpose synthetic with the little pencil barrel.
I bought a couple years ago and it sat in my safe waiting for a scope to get instock.. Finally got it and didnt get to shooting it much since i have a R700 in .22-250. The .22-250 barrel is toast and dont shoot good anymore. So i got the .270 out and started up a good load and went to work.
Whole gun/scope/rings/bases is less than $750.
