woot! i just accuired a brandnew ruger mini 14 from my grandfather for graduation! just put a scope on it!

he just bought it from walmart so im assuming its new.... lol. doesnt feel like any of the oldones ive handled. just mounted a scope and takin it out to the 100yd range with some factory remington ammo. im hopin for half inch to inch groupings. we shall see

if you get half inch group with that thing with factory remington, the moons have aligned and the stars are perfect..

you mean reloading

The factory rem ammo from wallyworld or basspro only shoots about a 1.5-1.75" group in my 16" bull barrel AR.. good reload with a 55gr vmax has shot a .26" group

well man im not in the market to reload my own **** yet and i dont have any experiance... maybe ill start buyin some stuff from you..

well i took the rifle out and got her zeroed in sortof. i rushed and didnt let her cool down between shots, got 1 and half inch groups. pretty humid out, still sortof raining, getting heat miriages off the barrel
