Finished putting another rifle together :D 300WM
I traded a set of cyl heads for a Savage 110 7mag, ordered a 300wm barrel and put it on after i got it threaded for the muzzle brake (waiting on a suppressor )
Shrewd Brake
On the way home from work yesterday we stopped by the range to test some different loads and run them over the chrono..
Traded a nitrous kit for the scope
Millet LRS 6-25x56, 20MOA EGW Base, TPS 35mm Rings, Rifle Basix trigger, Factory Savage 112 300wm 26" Barrel, NSS Heavy duty recoil lug, Choate US stock.
300yds
Best group was 1.625" with a 210gr Berger, 71grs powder, Win LR, 2750fps.
Worst group was 2.5" with 72grs.
Got a 600yd match Saturday so i gotta hurry up and work on a load that will do 1.5" or less at 300.

Another nice setup... I gotta restock my 700 SPS-t, the factory stock on it is pretty much junk and the remington X-mark trigger is horseshit so that's gotta go too. I've been laid off too long to be putting money into my gear right now though. In the next couple weeks I should be starting at a new .gov job though, so I'll be all set then. I did however just pick up a new AK....
Anywho, those are some pretty decent groupings at 300. Mine aren't much better than that at 100, but I'm also trying to see how accurate milsurp **** can be for the time being.
