I did however just pick up a new AK....

Anywho, those are some pretty decent groupings at 300. Mine aren't much better than that at 100, but I'm also trying to see how accurate milsurp **** can be for the time being.
I have a factory trigger in my R700 .270, its not even the Xmark. And i adjusted it till i liked it. For free its awesome. Roughly 1.5# no creep and no overtravel

my buddy has a nice size farm down the road from me and i live out there on the weekends. shot 600 to 1000yds with my .270 and get back to 100yds and it feels like your in pistol range.

Corner to corner out there is 2800yds i think.. its over 1.5 miles i know

I haven't tried adjusting mine or seeing if there's anything I could polish to smooth it out some, I just bought the rifle and put the scope on it... that reminds me, I need to put a real base on it, I'm running regular cheap-o rings to hold it on now. Anyway, after buying the Leupold Mk IV LRT I was a little buttsore and held off on buying more parts for the time being lol. When I do get around to spending more money it's getting a new trigger, when I pull this one it kinda reminds me of dragging a cinderblock across pavement with one finger.

HAHA, if its a Xmark, there is a set screw thats adjustable from underneath.

EGW Rail and Burris XTR rings are a nice budget friendly setup thats proven.

Got thru with working up the final load for this rifle...

Setting the bullet in the lands .001" further made a big difference.

1.5" group at 600yds.

Not to bad for all factory Savage parts
