First time at painting a rifle
Got thru putting the Mcgowen stainless select match barrel on and worked up a load for it. I noticed that the barrel was way to shiny for varmint hunting so i found some Krylon Camo Paint in the shop and went to work. Used all Flat colors, black, brown, olive, khaki.
I wanted it to blend in good, but didnt want a tigerstripe or any type of camo. It turned out better than i was expecting. I held the can a good ways away so it kinda "dusted" it.
Before:
After:
It looks kinda funny up close.
I think its a keeper, 22-250 - 5 rounds at 100yds.
80Gr Berger stays supersonic out to 1500yds and shoots flatter than my 300wm out to 1200yds.
Bye bye coyotes..
