Yah I am def down for a gun section.. But we know that isn't going to happen


Looks good Jon, just don't bang it around or all the paint will chip off

a gun section would be awesome.
i'm in the middle of collecting parts for a custom savage .244.
is that a choate stock?

Sweet job! Does heat from the barrel effect the paint?

It like that worn and abused look. It wont take long to get it the way i use the gun.

.244? im not familiar with that round. Mind letting me in on some info

Yea its a Choate Varmint stock, i have the Choate sniper stock on my 300wm.

I only shoot it 3 times and then let it cool off before it put anymore thru it. In F-Class we have 20 minutes to fire up to 5 sighters, and then 20 rounds for score so it can get pretty warm doin that so we will see. I know my 300wm gets insanely hot.

a .244 is a 6mm round. I have a buddy pushing a 85 grain at 4000fps.
I'm going to be using a B&C tactical vamiant stock on my savage.

I thought it was a misprint, just checking. 4000fps and that barrel is gonna have a very long throat really quick. I burnt the factory barrel out on my 22-250 in no time with them 45gr HPs at 4100fps. Even tho the 6mm has a slightly larger bore its still gonna be a burner
It should shoot good tho!!
