Got another rimfire

I am thinking about getting me another rimfire next year. I have been looking at the savages. But I think I will end up with a cheap semi again though. I just like the shoot and ready to shoot again factor for what I'd use it for. Besides, when **** hits the fan in America, I am thinking I'd be better off with a back pack of .22 rounds than trying to tote around a back pack of .223's LOL. BUT I love seeing those bolt actions with suppression and tripods. Man that gets sexy. No matter the stock. Nice buy Cody.

This is what i got at Budsgunshop.com for $168, no tax paid and free shipping to my FFL. Ragged holes at 25 and 3 under a dime at 50, with cheap Remington Thunderbolt ammo. 1190 fps. Haven't shot it at 100 yards yet but I'm gonna try it this weekend. You guys have my interest peaked now.

cody, build it and if you like it i may want to build a clone lol. my dad gave away my old remington 22lr. it was a throw down gun, but what i learned with and i miss it. open sights and it shot damn accurate! only draw back was single shot bolt action. how much is a supressor? and how hard are they to get?

You have to buy the suppressor, then apply for a $200 BATF tax stamp. It will take 6-8 months to get approved for the stamp. Once you have your stamp the local sheriff has to sign off on it. Once all that is done, then you can go pick up your suppressor. I can't bring my self to spend the money to suppress a rimfire. Sub sonic ammo is so quiet that a suppressor is just to big of a hunk of money to spend on a 22. Now on a Centerfire, OH GAWD YES!

I cant find the picture.. but my YHM Mite is the same DIA as the savage MKII barrel.. and silly quiet..
I mean really quiet with the 20" barrel. Dry fire your 22 and thats what it sounds like.. now the bullet impact is stupid loud!!!
