Well didn't go to bad. My 300 yard zero was a little off got it sighted in and hit a few x rings. 600 yards and wind was a different story. Was about a half a min short on elevation and couldn't get steady enough. But managed a few 9 and 10 rings but no x. To much heart beat thru the scope plus trying to hold over the same amount every time. Also the 168 match bullets were shooting lower by bout 2 inches at 100. Seemed to be a hotter load tho gun heated up in about 4 or 5 rounds. All in all a fun morning tho.

Now you get to learn your breathing technique to slow your heart down. Also ive found out if you cross your right leg at a 90* and rest your right ankle over your left knee it takes some of the pressure off your chest so your heart isnt making you bounce around.
And remember use your bone structure as much as you can, your muscles are never going to be your best bet when trying to keep still.

Absolutely correct. And hey man, stop holding over if you can help it. Use you scope's adjustment. Kentucky windage is a bad habit for precision shooting. Tactical shooting is another matter altogether.

Most basic breathing technique ever but it works for me. Two long slow deep breaths, then a third but only let it half out. Focus. Shoot. And as mentioned above, never rely on muscles.

What brand of scope are you running? I only ask because you shouldn't be running out of adjustment at 600. Also there are plenty of 20MOA bases that will allow you to shoot to the magical 1k if you so desire one day.
