Im not a big rifle guy but with all this **** going on i wanted to get an AR15 before the ban or whatever is gonna happen happens. I bought a Left handed Rock River Arms Ar. The link is below. Only things i plan to add is a trijicon Acog scope and a grippod with light attatchment.

My father in-law has the same setup. Solid gun...but I hate those handguards.

Can someone point me in the right direction for some nice handrails and if i need to change the barrel for a suppressor? Im not stupid when it comes to guns but im still learning. Is the barrel that it comes with a good barrel?

The Barrel will be threaded already if it has a flash hider on it and most do. Rock river arms make a solid rifle. The barrel is fine, most ARs are more accurate than the average shooter is.

Handguards are subjective just likes wheels etc. But I do have a chart someone made with weight comparisons. I absolutely love my MI SS Gen2 15", I had a YHM Diamond 12" and it was heavier. But still nice.

Barrel is fine, just use a barrel vise and support the barrel, take the hider off and run your suppressor.

suppressors are another thing...there are just so damn many.
