Default Long Range AR

FINALLY got my new barrel in. Only took bout 4 months.

24" Black Hole Weaponry, 5.56, polygonal 3 groove rifling.

Just thru it together, still gotta get a gas block and tube. Then save up to get a PRS stock and then a scope with 20MOA base.

I wanted a 1:7 but all they offered was 8.

69 and 70 gr bullets should work our well. I always loaded burgers for mine. I only shot it out to 700 before It got sold. It was nice. I also had a 204ruger that was fun out to 500 yards.

Yea, im planning on 75 / 80gr Amax and hope they do good.. i bought a bunch back when they were cheap and they did good out of my RRA M$ 7 twist Barrel.
Ive got pretty much each weight of each brand bullet from 68GR to 90GR, so maybe one of the loads will do good.

I know alot of folks who love the 75GR amax. I had some but never tryed them. The 70gr Berger and 69smk shot too well to mess with it anymore. I have always had good luck with Berger anyways.

Well did some load testing sunday afternoon

best group was 1.125" with 80GR Nosler Custom Comps @ 2650fps

get to do some more loading and playing with that bullet.

I was able to get the 75gr Amax up to 2850fps with 25gr Varget and not flattening the primers yet so im goin to keep goin to see what happens.

Boy this is fun
