how far off the lands do you seat your bullet? I seat mine anywhare from .05 to .055 and it shoots .5 MOA at 100m with 42.5gr of 4064 and a 178g Amax.

Tried good old IMR3031? Always had good luck with it and .223s

Ive tried 2.80" to jammed .010.
i dont do much 100yd shooting with the 308, mainly 600yd. Its done everything from 4"-8" so i cant complain. but thats with pulled 175 and old 178 SMKs

Actually ive never heard of that one, but ill go find some and give it a try.
What load do you use?

24.4 grains under a 55grain speer. How it works with heavier bullets, I'm not sure
