Starting my AR build
#31
Well I just ordered everything, so excited to finally be getting an AR after having to read so many threads
I went with two 30rd PMAGs for now, need to find a good 5rd mag for hunting and find a place to buy bulk plinking ammo thats actually in stock. Id like to buy 500 or 1000rds to keep price down and have a good stock of brass for when I get my press.

How much are yall paying for FFL transfer? THe LGS here wants 50 bucks. I forgot to ask if thats per lower or not. If thats a decent price Im going to go ahead and up more order to 3 lowers if its the same FFL price so I dont have to deal with this crap again.

No magazine capacity restrictions in Texas for hunting most game animals.... this list needs to be updated, suppressors are now legal

I thought for animals that required a tag, the mag limit was 5 rounds. Could be wrong though, wouldnt be surprised if they changed that now that we can hunt with supressors

Edit, for any game animal requiring a tag in texas, there is still a 5 round mag limit, but obviously the use of a suppressor is now legal. Hogs and other pests like that do not require tags, therefor do not require a mag limit.
