What dropper do you have now? I'm going to be using a ton of different powders and I'm worried about some of them not dropping consistently since they're not all nice spherical powder.

I second the chargemaster is the bomb. I have 3 of the dillon powder droppers one set up for magnum charges...1 for regular...1 for small, keeps you from having to change the bases when you want to go from say 223 charge to a 300 win mag charge.

Ive got all the typical reloading books to reference but if any of you have found a particular load works better than others post up if you dont mind
if you come up with a good recipe for the 30-378 let me know, I have been lurking the snipers hide forum and there is some good info there. I was shooting 180gr but a member over there has me thinking of going up to a 210gr and using 50bmg powder, also changing my 26" 1/11 to a 30-32in 1/10 barrel.

If youve got the case to push it the bigger bullets will usually shoot better due to the higher BC. Its amazing the difference in ballistics by just switching the a boat tail. Itll be summer before I get around to the 30-378. Want to learn on the cheaper rounds first. Eventually I want some tack driver rounds for the 30-378 and 300WSM as thats what we take elk hunting and have a matching pair of both.

Thanks PAL now I got 1500 bucks worth of bullets in my cart in Midway and trying to figure out a way I can pay for them. Where did you get the primers? Wish I could get good deals on bullets like Nonnie.

Buy in bulk and look for sales. I bought a 1000 bullets that were blems from midway. They normally sell for 54 a 100 and I got them for 22. I also bought 6000 223 bullets which savede a couple pennies per bullet.

I bought powder and primers from grafs.com since midway charges double hazmat due to not housing their powder at the same place as the primers. Also helped that they are cheaper than midway. Bullets are cheaper in general on midway. Most of the stuff I've bought has been on sale.

Got 200 blem 270 130gr spitzer boat tails and another 200 but in the 150gr variety, should be good for hill country whitetail hunting. Also got 500 69gr Sierra hpbt bullets so I can actually shoot animals with the AR along with a Speer bullet manual. 100 rounds 147gr fmj and 20 rounds of 155gr hpbt for the 300BO.

55gr 223 fmj 69gr 223 hpbt 130gr 270 sbt 150gr 270 sbt 180gr 300 sbt

Also have a few more pounds of powder and 15k worth of primers coming from grafs. Just need to order a bit more brass, some lead plinking bullets and maybe a few more bullets if I can get some more good deals. I'm almost ready to order my reloading equipment but that may get held off since my trust will be done next week and I plan to order 3 suppressors
