Crappy phone pic in bad light. Fun & cheap little gun.

I've got one with a light brown stock and the stainless barrel, small scope on it. Just a fun, cheap gun to shoot. Only complaint is the stock clip, which I've had two majorly jam on me. I'd pay $450 for the gun in the OP.

Just give it a try first and see if you like it. It might meet your goals.
Stockystocks.com has some good target stocks.

I put a fajen fancy stock on my buddys 10/22 last weekend and it was nice and stiff. Ill find a link tom. It had an adjustable cheek rest and butt pad. Free floated the .920" barrel perfect.

I put one these on a guys 10/22 awhile back. Its about 2.5 pounds so its not light. But it was really comfortable to shoot from a bipod.

10/22s are sweet. Shoot pretty accurately with iron sights. I have been looking at .22Mag lever actions as target rifle as opposed to dropping a $ into the 10/22. Looks like a great deal though. Im sure youll love it.

Sorry, the seller ended up being a dick, and I decided to not give him my business, time, or money. He decided to add pics of the bi-pod, but wasn't including it, and even at the so called good price he was selling it for, he got shitty about his $20 bipod. I told him it was a deal killer for me. I do not buy guns at normal prices, I look for deals. At the price we agreed on I wanted everything represented in the pics that he was, in my opinion, using as a sly move. The add never stated that the bipod was not included.

And after real world prices, that gun can be built right at the price he was selling it to me for. Unless my math was off.

The barrel was like $100, stock $80, precision parts like $30 or so a pop, optics $70 so on.....

Check out blackholeweaponry.com

You can get one their 6.8 barrels and build your own for a good price.
Unless you find a killer deal on an upper.
