what does your wife/lady friend EDC?
looking into getting a gun for my wife to EDC. i have a couple i have been eyeing, just curious what your wife/ladyfriend is carrying.
she has been around guns, and is comfortable shooting for the most part. she doesnt like how much kick my XD40 has, though...

Been helping some my friends learn how to shoot, 38SPL revolver is the most foolproof setup you can ask for.
BUT! the trigger is so hard for them to work that its hard to keep them on the paper.
Semiauto for a female that doesnt practice with it alot is not a good idea.

ruger lc9. has a safety, a long trigger pull and an indicator to let you know if it's loaded...it's a dummied down extra safe weapon for the woman that will still punch the same hole. i'm not wild about the way it shoots, but it's an edc, not a plinking gun so...
