What is the most powerful firearm you've ever shot?

As I too expected a fireball.
StrokerAce03, I only knew those initials to stand for that, the 9000 threw me. I saw some wheels on Fri., by the same name. And yes, they were hideous.
Alot of u guys shoot some cool stuff. Either at your job or your own toys.

Rifle-375H&H but i think the weatherby 30-378 kicks harder even though its a smaller caliber
Pistol-500 magnum
Shotgun-old school double barrel 10ga
Stupid-single shot 50 like txtahoe posted, it feels like the kick of a 12ga with a 3.5 magnum steel shell. So not that bad but enough to damn sure get your attention.
To expand on what he was talking about with the muzzle break, Ive never had the misfortune of being around a 50 in the wrong place with a muzzle break but my dads 8mm mag has a break on it and in Colorado we were on the side of a rock face under a rock ledge glassing the other side of the canyon when he cranked off a round, to this day I think the hearing in my right ear isnt so great because of that and its been almost 6 years now. Muzzle breaks are the **** though, my wife can shoot our 338RUM since it has one. She will only shoot it once but she will shoot it

It was hilarious when the guy fell back into the chair, then almost fell outta the chair thereafter & drops it. just as funny, the guy that follows throws both his hands up in disbelief.

For me (and powerful being totally relative) would have to be a bazooka brothers custom AR-15 (semi-auto) chambered for .45 ACP and (4) 30 round clips.
Oh yeah, shot a buddy's Taurus ultralite .44 mag once...not even fun.

I have shot a .50 cal muzzle loader, very neat gun.
.44 mag pistol kicks perdy good.
BUT, the biggest KICK I ever had was a Browning semi auto 12 gauge 3.5" "gas" chamber shotgun that kicks the barrel back to eject the shell. I have never been so sore after goose hunting!
I have always wanted to shoot/own a 45/70 GOVT.

Taurus judge .45LC and multiple 2.5 inch .410 rounds
30-06 and something a buddy drug out for me to shoot, don't recall what it was, but had a good bruise on my forehead from getting to close to the scope.
I have a family heirloom 1936 Topper M48. It is a single barrel .12 Ga, break barrel design. It has a 4 ft long barrel with a full choke. At 75 yards, bird shot is only spreed about 6 inches. It is, by far, the hardest hitting gun I have fired, and that is even with padded boot. My brother has a newer clone of it with no choke and only a 24 inch barrel, his wife was shooting his and decided she wanted to shoot mine. My brother stood behind her and caught her on her way down. I don't have a lot of shooting experience, but a friend shoots in all sorts of competitions. He asked if he could put some rounds through it and couldn't believe how hard it hammered (harder this his .12 ga side by side both at once). He then asked if he could borrow it for a local turkey shoot.
On another note, I took my wife out about a month ago with a .22 pistol. I didn't know she didn't know how to use the sites, as she was hitting the target. I taught her how to use them, and suddenly, she was drilling everything on her first shot. Pretty impressive for the second time she had even held a gun.
She handled the judge pretty well, but didn't like the kick. I made her shoot a few different rounds through it, load and unload it, and practice single and double action. She is a stay at home mom. I think the judge and the german sheppard will keep her safe.
