I didn't... picked it up on sale at Freddy's for $600 in Fairbanks in July or so. I only managed to get my shotgun across the border... didn't have any handguns and glad I didn't, they stripped my truck down like crazy!!!

I've got a friend here in Wasilla that's FFL and my cousin in Oregon also. Not sure when you're moving back south, just throwing that out there. Maybe you already have it handled though.

For some reason, I thought you were only up here for the summer, and already back in the states.

That was the plan... but I am a full time Alaskan now. Got a helluva promotion but I get to enjoy the winters with the other 7 people that live in Healy. Thank god for the internet, cell service, and 6 weeks of vacation coming up.

Should be placing an order for an XDM .40 3.8" next week (just in time for the 3 free magazine promo). Pics to come when it arrives. That is all.

Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Got a great deal on it, $545 delivered. Really feels like a quality piece.

Sorry for the crappy iphone pics.
