My Service Model XD is on the 25,000 round count and still goin. Prolly gonna be close to the 32,000 round mark by December

 

Don't have any pics handy but I have a stock 4" XD-40. I would like to get either some tridium sights or a low profile green laser for it. I love the XD but my next pistol will be a 1911 (not sure of brand/model yet).

I was reading today; it'll probably now cost me some money. I better stop reading cause I'm thinkin another 1911 as well.

What's the purpose of having a 3" barrel sub-compact when it has a bulky light/laser attached and that extra long mag?

Couldnt carry it like that but i guess you wouldnt have to reload for awhile.
