I'm a big Kimber 1911 fan, almost sold the BMW's project motor to buy a Stainless TLE II I went and looked at 2 days ago. I like the Colt as well, but have had nothing but great experiences shooting Kimbers.

I see most of you carry .40s. Why? Why not a .45?

 

i personally hate the .40, and prefer the actual full powered 10mm. .40 ammo is far and few between to come by, and a joke. although most people will defend its a good round, they really only have it because its bigger than a 9, holds more ammo than a .45, and cant handle the recoil of a .45.
