I didnt make much progress on what I listed as I got kinda sidetracked on AR and reloading supply buying as well as some NFA items

I didnt do anything to my XDm 5.25 45 except get the nasty *** grip tape off of it and add a light as its my HD gun.

Im probably going to keep it as a HD gun so Ive decided not to mess with it at all.

I also bought a Ruger 22/45 lite talo edition for my wife to play with as she loves the 22s and itll make a perfect host for a suppressor since it comes with a threaded barrel from the factory. I added some hogue grips(LOVE THEM), fiber optic front sight, volquartsen trigger and sear, BAM bushing and a madd macs compensator. It shoots awesome, and is a friggin tack driver.

I bought an XDs and really liked it but I sold it to fund more reloading supplies as I currently dont have ym CHL and that gun isnt much fun to shoot or have any benefits over my 5.25 outside of concealed carry. When I get my CHL again Ill buy one for carry. For those that like the XD line you will love the XDs, its a snappy **** for sure though but what would you expect with 45acp coming out of such a small pistol.

Ive also decided not to put a red dot on the 500mag and go with an actual extended eye relief scope so I can shoot accurately out to 150 or so. Probably going with this one as it seems the 454s, 460s and 500s put a hurting on the cheaper scopes, even the Leupolds arent lasting but 4-500 rounds according some people on thehighroad.org.

I ended up buying a PSA AR and having fun with it but traded it for a Leupold 1-3 tactical scope thatll be going on the 458 socom kit Ive got on order from Wilson Combat. The kit will be going on their 458 socom upper reciever

and a Noveske lower.

Im also in the middle of putting two other ARs together, just waiting on misc parts.

One is Mega match receiver set, with a YHM 12" handguard, ARperformance 16" 223 wylde barrel, BCM BCG, Geiselle SSA-E trigger and the usual other goodies. Ive got everything to put it together, just dont have a vice to chuck the upper receiver in to bolt the barrel on. Gotta find time to go over to a buddy's house and do that.

My other build which is the one Im really looking forward to is my 300 blackout build. Ive got a seekins lower, but am still waiting on their iRMT-r upper receiver to come in and the 15" MCSR rails to come back in stock. I forget what BCG Im using but its NiB coated and will be using the rainier arms raptor charge handle, again when they come back in stock. All that will be for the 10.2" Noveske barrel sitting in the safe. It will be a dedicated suppressor rig for this fella that Im waiting on the tax stamp for

So, for this year my goals are:

Finish my AR builds
Order an osprey 45 suppressor
Build a ruger 17HMR
Get my CHL
Get another XDs
XDm 3.8" compact 9mm
Reloading equipment

Thats probably it for this coming year as Im going to be doing some house mods and trying to get my truck paid off. With the house mods done and no vehicle payments 2014 could be a big year if the world isnt over by then

So what did everyone else get accomplished and what are you wanting to do in this coming year?

In light of everything lately (unfortunately), I am going to be ordering a lower or two for an ar build. I won't be able to finish them right away but I wanna make sure I get them just in case a ban happens. Long term plans are .300 Blackout set up for general self defense and hog hunting.

I'm gonna be ordering from JD Machine Tech in San Diego. Anyone used theirs?

I would like to get a National Match AR50, but I would settle for a Bad News AR in 338LM of course. My wife and I already have plenty of shotguns as she put it so that's no dice, although I wouldn't mind one of those Keltec KSG's. As far as pistols go, I want to get a 1911 for a dedicated 460 Rowland chambering. However, my wife and I have a deal where if I get a firearm, she gets one too. I am dismayed to report she has been eyeing a Desert Eagle 50AE and may want to get it. I don't know, we'll see what happens with this "assault weapons ban". More like scary looking weapons ban.

 

Getting ready to pull the trigger on an AR15 VERY SOON.

Think I've narrowed it down to either a Colt Competition CRE-18 or POF-USA P415 18"
There are a few others, but these are the 2 that I am really interested in and having handled them, I like the feel of both.

 

Im building a MK12 clone with a good scope, thinkin vortex pst 2.5-10.
And a few spare barrels and parts.
Then its drop a few thousand dollars on reloading supplies

Kinda scared how these idiots act.

Oh and i ordered a shellback banshee plate carrier.

 

Get my gas piston 5.56 sbr done And pick back up on reloading/ learn to reload the 500 s&w mag.
