So You're an oil patch Guy in a pewter short bed eh .........
Same here +/- 20% but the cost of living/housing is staggering, unless you want to commute 50-75 miles each way in purely Psychotic traffic that makes Houston look normal
positives
great weather 90% of the time
great ethnic restaurants
lots of killer coast line and pelagic fishing in trailer boat
range ocean is often flat 50 miles offshore
ps I've eyeballed property in and around nassau bay
huge bang for your buck factor unfortunately I'm not into hurricanes and tornados though
