Default Highly considering switching tuners...

Everytime I try to get ahold of my tuner he doesn't answer so... I'm considering a visit to synergy when I get my ls6 cam swap done, opinions and experiances are welcome to be shared.

Obviously Rick is a great tuner and I'm going to give him a 100% rating but seriously I never have a problem reaching him and if I can't get him on the phone and leave a message he has always returned my call.

A guy named Tom Bogdanich from Ceres, he's really cool and only charges $ 150.00 for tunes and every retune is free and tunes with EFI Live.

I know it sounds like a killer deal, but sometimes you get what you pay for. We charge 500 for a full tune, and I am sure some on here can vouch that we try and answer about every question you can throw at us. Just as long as its car related of course.

"Everytime I try to get ahold of my tuner he doesn't answer so... I'm considering a visit to synergy when I get my ls6 cam swap done, opinions and experiances are welcome to be shared. "

Spoke to Tom about this--he says this is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE-- Says that recently you have never called--never left a message-- He has tuned all 25 or so F-bodies in our club and does excellent work and is totally reliable and considerate-- Says he has logged hours and hours of data on your truck for FREE without question or charge since your 1st tune--He has tuned over 1000 cars and trucks from blown to stock and knows his stuff---
Sounds to me like you have made poor choices in your combination ( LS6 cam etc.) and have unrealistic goals for a 4.8 / 4500 lb race truck--
PS: "you get what you pay for " ?? Absolutely !! In the Modesto area , central valley charging $500 for a dyno tune will get you to the un-employment office-- An hour on the dyno here is $75 --A tune $150 --with free adjustments--- That's $225---- So you're paying $500 and driving to the Bay Area ??---Yeah--your're getting what you deserve--screwed !!!
How many ways are there to adjust timing and fuel ??? no matter what they tell you that's what performance tuning comes down to-----

Hold on a moment. Don't come on here and call Chris a liar. If he says he was having a difficult time reaching his tuner than I'm sure he was.

Did you dig up a 2 year old thread to start trouble?
