Any tuners in the inland empire area that can fix up a tune this weekend? Been trying to get a hold of blackbear who did my suburban tune this week and not getting anything back from them.

 

Go with your tranny builder. There are members that use his tune and a very knowledgable buddy of mine on here suggested I go to Rey as well for my next truck.

 

I've used Rey (tweaked my silverado's tune), but he sounded kind of busy when I talked to him earlier in the week. Having idle issues after longtube install, and don't have time to mess with it myself with my hptuners.

We put the longtubes on the suburban, and then it idle low/stalled. Cleaned the TB and then it idled high - 700-1000 rpm. I put my truck tune on it (minus the transmission stuff), and now it idles better but MPG is suffering
Both trucks basically are the same setup. Same CAI, both have long tubes. So the tune works OK, has decent power.. Just MPG suffering on the burb (~14MPG, with clogged cats driving to havasu we got 19mpg). My LTFT/STFT seem OK.

Reynaldo sent me a text friday night and said if I could make it to hemet by 8, he could fix me up today. So I got up early and drove out there from riverside, he fixed up the tune and suburban runs awesome now.

Seriously, Rey and Juan are great guys. They are willing to help out and go beyond what they need to do. My trans in my truck is working good still, I have to get them to do my suburban one next.
