How did you manage that on street tires. You must be good at rolling into the throttle.

I ran a 8.7 1/8(13.7 1/4) on street tires last time out at Fontana with a 1.9 60ft. I was able to roll hard into the throttle because the track was prepped well. Tried to push it harder on another run and it spun and only went 9.0(1/8) and 14.0(1/4) spinning a little.

At Irwindale I am 2 tenths faster though. I think because of the DA and track prep.

Best on DR's is 8.2 at Irwindale with some 7's with juice. I was out testing the 150 shot the other day and should be ready to run next week at Fontana. I want to run the Camaro also so I need someone to take the truck as I can't drive both down there and I don't have a hitch.

Yes Jaime, I had to baby out of the hole. That was the best I ran with those tires. The previous times were 8.2s spinning badly. I also should of been more specific about which tires am using. Because even though is a drag radial, is still consider a street tire.

Yea Fontana is a hit and miss. I was there about two years ago, and the best I was able to run was a 12.5 on a full slick. That day was around 100* outside and had some wheel spin. Hopefully I can get my truck there sometime and see what it runs, in better conditions.
