Lightnings have a 9.75 rear end. I called cooks last week and they want me to take them the bare housing and axels. I was looking for a shop who can do all the work because I live on base and I can't do anything here on base housing.

Ok, I was thinking it maybe a ford housing. Any general Automotive Fabrication shop should be able to remove and narrow it. I am not sure who to recommend down that way.

I can tell you to watch out for a gentlemen named Doug Brown down there. He has owned and worked at a few fab shops down that way and had some type of military backround. He has done good to some people but ripped of others.

Up this way watch out for Superior Automotive.

Did you ask Cook's if they had any local shops that they worked with that could do the removal and take it to them for the work???

It's hard to find an all in one shop out here. I will ask around.

Yes they are going on my 2003 lightning. Im in the 62 area in camp pendleton.
