I'm still deciding on how I'm getting up there guys. I think I'm just gonna drive up Friday night or something, might rent a car. I talked to Rick yesterday finally and he found my tach is WAY off. Anyone have any ideas why that would be? When it was indicating 6K it was around (I'm guessing) 3500-4K only. Which would explain the lack of power and also for the few times I was at high RPM it never sounded like it was even trying. I don't' know, I wanna use Bill's guns on it at this point.

Wired incorrectly? So, what does he have to do to fix it? Does that explain the trans problem? Borrow? No way but if rick doesn't mind we can roll it in his shop and blow slugs thru it!

Sounds like a plan!!! I'm gonna have to figure out what I'm gonna do, I'll let Bill know and hopefully I can meet up at Mark's house. If I go up I'll probably stay in Castro Valley and if I do that I might hitch a ride with henry...you still going henry?

It looks like its the TC for sure but I don't know whats wrong with it exactly. I'm going to hold out from driving it until I get a new one. Thats what I get for cheaping out on the TC. I'll probably be getting a PI converter.

I'm still coming though with a stock 2001 RCSS Sierra.

PI or Yank both are excellent. Well that bites, you know it would've run really well now right. Glad you're still coming, I'll see you at McD's at 7am!

If you want to fly up into San Jose, I can pick you up at the airport. You're welcome to crash on the couch Fri night.
