Damn Julien your spanish is way better than mine.. Nice pics, a party in Argentina? Everyone dances funny there too, huh? Pretty cool though, I've been to a couple of carribbean countries and Canada but I sure would like to travel a bit more.

Actually I cheated and had an friend help me translate! My Spanish which used to be really good has deteriorated since I left Argentina. They are fun people down there and they love dancing you are right!!! That wasn't a party but rather dinner at a restaurant...in some restaurants people get up and shake their *** before desert! I learned the Tarantella and the Cuarteto. Too bad I'm as white as can be and can't dance worth a crap!

I have met quite a few Argentinians and have not met one I didn't like.
I ran a ferry in the USVI during the Falkland war, had Argentinians on one side and Brit's on the other during the crossings, whew
Argentinian spanish rolls off the tongue much different than the Mexican or Cental American I hear here in Ca.

I learned alot about the Falkland war when I was down there...man is there some bad beef between those two countries. I think the Brits more or less don't care but the argentinians are still PISSED about that! Lol

If im not mistake Argentinian Spanish still holds to its roots from Spain, and not alot has changed, but Spanish from Mexico has included languages from its native people, and of corse English, and doing so it has made Spanish from Mexico ruffer then Spanish from Spain.
