Default Truckin' Nationals - April 28/29

Last year a number of people asked if they could piggyback on our group registration when it came back around this year. Unfortunately this is somewhat last minute - I've been trying to get this arranged since last year's event in October, but due to the sponsor/date change to April, Firebird Raceway took all the way until this week to get everything ready to go.

------------------------------------
Monster Truck Jammin' Nationals (Formerly Truckin' Nationals)
Firebird Raceway, Phoenix Arizona
April 28th & 29th.

Here's a link to the event information:
http://www.firebirdraceway.com/06web/07Monster.html

The group registration cost this year is only $25.00. You will receive one entry pass for Sat/Sun into the car show or drag racing, one participant t-shirt, and you will also receive one guest pass for Sat/Sun. This package costs $87.00+ to the general public and as far as I'm aware we are the only group that this rate has been offered to this year.

Just like the last 5 years, to qualify for this group rate we need 20 participants and I need to collect everyone's registration info and payments and will send them all in together around 4/20. I prefer payments via PayPal. I will accept money orders or personal checks from people I know if they're mailed before the 10th, but if they have problems clearing before my credit card gets charged you'll have to find another way into the show, I'm not Bank of Steve.

If you pay via PayPal, please throw in an extra buck (send $26.00) to cover the fees that they will charge me for the service. My PayPal address is webmaster@dakota-durango.com.

If you need to snail mail me a payment, PM me at www.dakota-durango.com or send an e-mail to webmaster@dakota-durango.com and I'll forward you the address. All payments must be received and able to clear the bank before 4/20.

If you have any questions please e-mail me at webmaster@dakota-durango.com or refer to this thread on my site:

So do I have to participate if I get in on this group deal? I mean, who knows if the old 4.8 will make it till then.

Technically, no. We have had a couple of friends of the club sign up with the group registration because this way you can park inside the event (if you park in the drag racing pits you're usually allowed to come & go whenever you want, if you participate in the car show you have to stay put) and get 2 admission tickets for less than what it costs to buy 1 general admin ticket for the public.

Bumping this to the top... 4 days to go on the cheap group registration, 2 weeks until the event.

For anyone on the borderline on whether they want to enter the show or not, the group registration price is cheaper than what it costs to buy a general admission spectator ticket. Even if you don't want to race or show, you can come park your vehicle in the pits instead of having to park in the remote lots, plus you'll get the free event t-shirt & 2nd guest pass. You can still come and go whenever you choose, just save a few bucks and help keep the group registration alive.
