update: bad news...

this is from RacerJJ: "February is no good. The whole facility shuts down for a month for NASCAR to come in and set-up and tear down."

not sure wat u guys wanna do but i guess i'll wait on the people say at Famosa...

my truck will be up north around that time so id be down to go up there. i plan to hit a track while its up there too. but for january ill be in the car the truck will be out of service.

OK, I'm calling Famoso today, they still don't have a 2009 calander up on their web-site so a call is in order. I am going to just pick a date, say after Feb. 17th to give everyone enough time to make arrangements.

I'll get back with you as soon as I nail something down.

Called and spoke with a nice lady, she said the track opens in the beginning of Feb but likely no Saturdays available until after the first weekend in March.
She gave me the email for the owner or manager and I will send something out to him tonight. The management team is in Vegas discussing the years calender with other tracks around the country. I guess they get together and set dates for the larger events.

If ya'll do it in january there is a high likely hood of me making it out, febuary is touchy but i'll still make it, i had alot of fun last year and AZ, guess i can see some relatives out in cali
