Been around here and there. The Tahoe is N/A right now and waiting for paint. It started out with a stripped intercooler mounting bolt that need a heli-coil, then decided to have the outlet elbow of my whipple ported since it was off, then completely removed all of the aux whipple computer and wiring(was already disconnected). Then decided to remove the stock black box vortec computer and wire in a "411" PCM. Since the truck was basically stock running, I decided to go get the whole truck repainted and fix all of the little cosmetic problems which that also led to shaving my roof rack. I should be going in for paint in about a week. After paint, it will most likely get new heads before the whipple goes back on.

I'll hopefully drive my truck up but if not I'll drive my 08 RCSB.

Damn...while it's apart you need to throw in an LS motor!
And what's this about an 08 RCSB? When did you get that? Got any pics?

You don't know how close I am to doing that. I even called places to price LQ9's. I will make my decision within the next month. Its either 6.0L+cam with a TVS (which will be later down the road) or new 350 shortblock, AFR heads and a cam with current intercooled whipple setup.

The 08 is something I picked up this past DEC when GM was throwing them away. MSRP was $21K and I got it for $12.5K brand new. Its a white 4.8L W/T with trailering package (so it comes with all of the coolers, G80 and hitch), a/c and manual everything. I've added DIC, linex, aftermarket power locks, oem power mirror. Its a nice little truck.

Damn man...for $12.5K that is a spanking deal!! Bring that to the track, I wanna see it!!
I know you've been wanting to drop in a LS motor in your truck for a while now...what can I do to push you over the edge?

I know how that goes, I decided to swap in a 454 and a 4L80 into my 1989 work truck and things got a little out of hand. Now the only stock thing on the truck is the cab, bed and body panels....

All vehicles must pass a regular tech inspection. Vehicles quicker than 10 seconds will run single passes.

Times: Pit Gates Open: 10:00am. Testing 12:00pm-4:00pm
Admission: General Admission: $10 Racers: $50 (car and driver)
